- Max Fromm Max Fromm begins with the production of tools for the metal working in Wain / Wurttemberg.
1938 Product specialization
- Beginning with the production of HSS reamers and countersinks.
1955 Enlargement of the range of tools
- Carbide-tipped and solid carbide tools are included in the production.
1978 Company jubilee
- 50 years Fromm Präzision.
1992 Enlargement of the locations
- Took over the tool manufacturer "Werkzeugfabrik Sitzendorf" in Thuringia with 13 competent staff members.
1997 Enlargement of the range of tools
- Reamers for the High-Speed-Processing also out of CERMET with and without inner coolant feed are manufactured in series.
1998 Quality system
- Certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.
2013 New owner and manager of the company Mr. Himmelreich
- Mr. Himmelreich (for many years manager of the production of the branch in Sitzendorf/Thuringia) takes over the ownership and management of Fromm Präzision.
2017 Significant investment volume
- In the machinery as well as storage and shipping buildings.
2023 Company anniversary / jubilee
- 95 years FROMM Präzision.
2025 Change in management and ownership structure
- As of April 1, 2025, Mr. Sebastian Korn has taken over management and ownership responsibility from Mr. Jörg Himmelreich.
